Namaka Birthday: A Pearl Is Born

Namaka Birthday: A Pearl Is Born

Time flies incredibly fast! It seems like it was just yesterday when we had our Grand Opening party and welcomed our first customers. Now, 3 years later, we look back proudly with gratitude and joy!

Like a pearl that is born in its mother-oyster’s shell, Namaka grew in a safe and opportune environment, year after year gaining strength, luster, and unique hues.

Every piece of jewelry that we make is inspired by the heart and soul. Creating beautiful things with passion that people value and love is truly a blessing we feel most fortunate for.

We want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who has supported and encouraged us during these years. We are grateful to our friends, family, customers, fans and especially to our wonderful Team! Without their loyalty and dedication to excellence, we would not have been able to achieve our present success.

Let’s celebrate our Birthday together.

Pearl lovers and friends, join us on Saturday, 08.06.19 at Pullman Danang Beach Resort Lobby for a night of free-flowing drinks, snacks and goodies. Yes, it’s our birthday, but we’ll be spoiling you with gifts and treats instead!

Here is what’s on:

  • 6:30 PM DJ Yujin and DJ Ruslan will get the party started with funky tunes
  • 8:00 PM Do you like surprises? We’ve prepared one for you! Get ready for the special show we have for this party.
  • 9:00 PM Lucky Draw!

We are very excited to see you all soon!!

We recently discussed the differences between saltwater and freshwater pearls. However, the world of ocean “periculture” is simply fascinating. There are three major types of saltwater cultured pearls, Akoya, Tahitian, and South Sea. These share many of the same characteristics but, as is the case with natural pearls, each can look vastly different. This is especially true because each is sourced from a different species of oceanic oyster that can only grow one pearl at a time. Without further ado, here’s what you need to know about the different types of saltwater pearls.

While pearls are certainly revered all around the world, it’s also one of the gemstones that people try to fake the most. These imitation pearls, sometimes also called “faux” or “costume” pearls, are worth very little in money and can be constructed from materials such as glass, plastic, alabaster, shells or even fish-scale.
