Pearl-Inspired Halloween Costumes: Smart, Fun & Sexy

Pearl-Inspired Halloween Costumes: Smart, Fun & Sexy

For many people, approaching Halloween is almost as anticipated as Christmas or New Year. Getting to dress up in a beautiful or funny or scary Halloween costume and heading out for the night can be especially magical when you add beautiful pearl pieces to your look. Still, need some inspiration? No problem! Here are our top pearl-inspired Halloween costume ideas that are smart, fun and sexy. After all, if not on Halloween then when?

Forest Wildlings & Woodland Nymphs

In the wake of Game of Thrones, wildling costumes using faux fur and nature-craft have become a simple yet very popular costume. It only requires a few items, incredible hair and makeup, as well as a statement pearl necklace that oozes feral power and charm. With a few additions, this theme can also be turned into a woodland nymph, pixie or even a fairy costume featuring beautiful wings.

Ocean Goddesses & Mermaids

Pearls, mermaids and other mythical creatures of the deep all fit naturally together. The best part of going with a sea-inspired goddess costume is that you can pair a pearl necklace, earrings, and bracelets with decorative pearls on shells and mock seaweed using your garment too. If you really want to make a statement, consider a headpiece infused with net, seaweed, shells, and pearls to cement your status as a goddess for the night.

Vintage Zombie Brides & Ghostly Princesses

No Halloween event is complete without a scary zombie costume or some ghostly apparitions. But that doesn’t mean you can’t make it look chic and sophisticated at the same time. Find a beautiful vintage dress at your local thrift store, something with lots of lace. Then layer on your favorite Namaka pearls. The makeup is key with a zombie or ghostly costume, it can be incredibly subtle or very over the top. But it should always be extra spooky!

Historical & Iconic Female Figures

A “Great Gatsby” costume is always a winner! The beautiful 1920s flapper style features art deco bracelets and long strings of pearls. Of course, no Daisy Buchanan outfit is complete without a bob wig and many, many pearls! Speaking of famous, sophisticated socialites, Holly Golightly is another Halloween favorite. Audrey Hepburn’s character in Breakfast in Tiffany’s iconic style is unmissable. All you need is a sexy black dress, long gloves, and sunglasses. And don’t forget the pearl jewelry! Feeling daring and a little cheeky? Dress up as the “Girl with the Pearl Earring” painting. You will need to stare sullenly over your shoulder through an old frame the whole evening though!
